Conscious Collective Leaders are Future-Fit leaders

Dan Price of Gravity Payments is an example of a Conscious Collective Leader.

Price is an interesting ‘new generation’ of leader - in 2015 he took a million-dollar pay cut to institute a $70,000 minimum wage (which more than paid for itself in productivity and innovation).

Quoted recently as saying - “Your team is so much smarter than you,” They will find solutions that you can’t see.” Dan recognises your people have a perspective those slightly removed from the coalface can’t see with the same degree of possibility.

In 2020 and with 3 months before the company folded, he needed new answers to ‘never seen before’ problems and he was thrilled by his team’s
answers.

If you are one of the many leaders who feel vulnerable or exposed when you don’t have all the answers - it’s time to give yourself a break and remember no one has all the answers in today’s complex world.

You might like to try using ‘the crowd’ to generate a new kind of Collective Intelligence in pursuit of a better normal.

Sometimes, when we’re hanging on too tight - we give off ‘don’t challenge me vibes’ and stifle others’ ability to help us out.

As we navigate the final weeks of 2020 - try hanging on a little less tightly - you might just be surprised. 😊

At I LEAD Consulting we enable diverse teams, Inclusive Leaders and Collective Cultures to achieve the highest degree of performance and impact.
