What Culture is most Effective in Today’s Hybrid World?

All roads lead to Inclusive Cultures which are founded on Psychological Safety and high in Belonging.

  • But how do you create that Culture exactly, and achieve it consistently?

Deloitte’s 3 “C’s” of Belonging; comfortconnection and contribution, lay the foundations of collective team cultures.

Each one the 3 “C’s” supports the other and together they deliver superior team performance AND human happiness and wellbeing.

So where – as a leader do I begin?

The degree of Belonging in any team, is something you can map. If your teams are like most, it will be those least like the leader, who have the weaker connections and likely the weaker contributions as a result.

In the hybrid world, there’s a delicate balance to create an environment where team members have both the ability and the safety to contribute their unique strengths.

How do you enable both the Ability and Safety to Contribute for Everyone Equally in the Hybrid WorkPlace?

The gain and pain of flexibility, needs to be shared amongst everyone equally, so there’s common times and places for everyone to connect and contribute.

The environment also needs to be safe enough for everyone equally to share their unique perspectives and knowledge.  

  • Without that, the advantage diverse teams naturally have, is sadly lost.

This isn’t an easy juggle for leaders – but there’s no need to do it alone.
